Paris Hilton has been turned into a circus. She has some problems which are not being dealt with because too much money is to be made out of them. Were she not a media magnet there would be no online petitions, no online voting as to whether she should go to jail or not. I am certain there are plenty of people who would want their court cases tried online and through polls, especially if they are popular. Is this the new trend...we, the cyber citizens can now try anyone we want to? Let us decide whether we have laws or not. If we have laws do we all abide by them or do some of us have exemption? What are the criteria for exemption? Why don't our laws apply to everyone? The same with treatment. If this were someone else, they'd probably get help and support. If she gets off, so should anyone else who is picked up for DUI.
