Royal turns on charm for vital centrist votes : "A TNS Sofres poll showed 46 per cent of Mr Bayrou's voters planned to vote for Ms Royal, and just 25 per cent for Mr Sarkozy. It also suggested that Mr Sarkozy retained a narrow second round lead over Ms Royal of 51 to 49 per cent."
Well, she is giving him a run for his money. Hoorah! Youpi! Ségolène Royal has polled very well indeed in the overseas French votes too. She is a very strong candidate and it is so good to see a good woman meet a man politician head on and be his equal...She can cut it with the best of them and she really does have her own style. May 6th is going to be interesting.
