Web users driving change in 2007

Web users driving change in 2007: "The ease and speed with which web programs can be put together is driving more and more businesses to question how they create the software they use to keep their organisations running."

This article sums up our currents trends...that web communities are powerful and people won't buy things for the sake of buying them. They want to know if they are good and if they have been made in a way that is fair for all concerned. Then, what I have used at the top...people are looking for the New Millennium look at feel. We can't keep having new gadgets and changes just for the sake of change. We are so over that because it costs and people have become rich because there has been too much change which we were forced into. For planet earth the web is a wonderful thing because it runs predominantly on goodwill and there have been efforts to undermine and bring it down, but the online communities know what they want. The amount of expertise, care, thought and concern which is freely available on the Net makes it very strong and advantageous to all who participate. It's not just ether. It's not just bling...there is real knowledge and expert skills out there and so there is a very real possibility for collaboration.

When it comes to fancy web, my latest wish is for a blog page I can just drag and drop onto. I want a blog site where I can shift text on my page, drop in my pictures and links. I want to be able to move things around my page and I want a little box at the bottom where people can leave me messages. I have been staggered by the number of good people who will alert me by email to blog hiccoughs ...things not displaying properly, muddled words ...helpful hints. They leave comments too and yes, I do the same for others...but a little alert box at the bottom of my blog page would be great!

I also want them to sort out email programmes so they don't send techno gobbledygook when I type accents or symbols. That would be cool. Some programmes are okay...others haven't worked out we are international!!
