AdelaideNow... When peace is top of the list:
"'Pope Benedict XVI has asked us to pay attention to the needs of men and women throughout the world who are suffering in all sorts of ways because of a lack of peace and the continual threat of violence,' he said."
You do not have to be a Catholic to make this World Day of Peace. We can all be a party to that. We can all support it, practice it, prioritise it and value it. It ought to be the must have of this millennium because we ought to have grown past barbaric practices. It surprises me that we cannot. Peace is truly something that each and every individual can be responsible for. Everyone is part of the peace chain and maybe 2007 is when we shall finally get the Ministry of Peace.
