Australian scientist was 'poisoned' at South Pole

AdelaideNow... Australian scientist was 'poisoned' at South Pole:

"Detective Senior Sergeant Grant Wormald, who headed the police investigation into Marks's death, yesterday told the inquest it was possible that the highly regarded scientist had been poisoned. 'In my view it is most likely Dr Marks ingested the methanol unknowingly,' he told the coroner."

I do not actually like to comment on police investigations or court procedings for obvious reasons. The law has a job to do and can do it more competently without me. This case is very odd, though, and like an Agatha Christie novel. I hope they get to the bottom of it because the man who died was very talented and capable ...but he was also someone's family. He belongs to other people and it is a good thing if the records can be set straight because we have lost someone clever but his family and firends have lost flesh and blood. It needs to be put right.
