Top house just an 'abstract veranda'

Top house just an 'abstract veranda' :

"Designed to withstand gale-force Southern Ocean winds that batter the coast during winter, the beach house consists of a pair of 43m steel trusses supported by legs through which the building's services run."

Heaven help the Mornington Peninsula. It is not a house. It's a ghastly crate. Have a look at the picture. There is nothing aesthetically appealing about it. Its merit is that it can withstand gale force wins and the legs cleverly hide the utilities. When it's as modern trash as that, it would want to redeem itself somehow. No, I am not impressed. We really are getting stupider by the day.
