AdelaideNow... Muslim women wanted mufti removed:
"'People did speak to him repeatedly about his outbursts and the fact that his comments had no relation to anything mentioned in either our holy book, the Koran, or the teachings of Mohammed.'"
This is how it should be. We can think what we like and say what we like and we are all capable of coming up with arguments and counter arguments. It's called debate. Sheik Taj al-Din al-Hilaly is a Muslim cleric and therefore it is for his community to decide whether he is worthy of remaining a leader and whether he has any credibility. They obviously have a clear stance and I believe we should respect them . We make our own decisions about our church leaders.
