Farmers look to rotten bananas for fuel.:"The state's peak horticultural body is setting up a pilot facility at a banana plantation in far north Queensland to trial a clean methane gas made from banana waste."
We might as well use them for fuel because we can't eat them at the price they are. I sat and ate dried banana chips today again. We have mangoes a plenty...but we are still sadly lacking in our much loved bananas. If they go into petrol tanks, shall we cry? Banana power! We used to run on it ourselves.
