Really!! I can't get over the newspaper heading. I have a vision of Mr. Downer standing there with his Viking hat on. That said...he is in an invidious position because this is a difficult situation to try and help with let alone try and resolve. Both Indonesia and Australia are aware of that and from that point of view we should draw courage. That both sides acknowledge there is a very tricky path and that the siuation is tense, means the talking will have to be low key and quiet but clear. I think the clarity is emerging.
