Study highlights SA's ageing population.

Study highlights SA's ageing population. :

"The Social Atlas of South Australia finds that in the past 15 years the number of people over 65 has increased by 35 per cent."

I guess this year's census will clear it up and identify the age breakdown of our population. I think SA could do ageing very well since we have a number of good role models, we have some good facilities and we do the lifestyle/entertainment stuff well without going right over the top. I think Australian cities will develop age preferences, and why no? This way you can muster resources effectively and people can live according to their needs without interfering in generational whims and fancies. In SA you see a good interplay between the generations and the pet shop owner I was talking to today was saying he wanted to develop his pet shop differently because he liked to see the young kids come in and he loved the questions he asked. It's a good pet shop concept.
