The article carries some good information and reaction to the price rises especially with bananas. We can produce plenty of fresh foods and we shall have to become more flexible. There other , cheaper things to eat and things which are just as tasty. We tend to get into food ruts but we'll just have to keep thinking and reminding oursleves what else can be eaten. The bananas, though, that is tragic. We run on bananas and can't you tell??! We can't live without bananas and we are not happy no deal was done to get us the amount of bananas we normally eat until our own bananas are back in production. We have noticed which other food is imported to fill gaps or compete. We can rattle the lists off.
