"It is the first time in seven years that a local brewery has taken top honors in the international competition which this year judged a record number of 974 beers from 31 countries.
The Grand Champion Trophy for 2006 was awarded last night to The Redoak Brewery of Sydney for its Redoak Special Reserve."
Well, Red Oak Beer took out the 2006 Australian Beer awards and seems to be a beer to look out for judging by this article and its website. It must be a special drop because it has been collecting awards left , right and centre. The other Australian Beer Awards are listed on this site. Tastes in beer are very much a regional thing....which is good because it gives us lots of choices!
