Cranfield University in Adelaide

The Advertiser: New Uni to lure defence contracts :

"Aimed at boosting defence skills, the campus will offer post-graduate degrees in defence engineering, specialising in areas such as radar, systems engineering, electro-optics and weapons."

There was a report a couple of days ago on our news saying people were leaving SA. I can't think why?! We used to be a nice little state and now we have the army moving back, submarine contracts, open cut uranium mining...this and that and now...a place to train everyone in things military. Someone needs to understand that South Australians neither want nor like war , nor are we going to feel safe surrounded by things military. It's just getting worse and worse so the young ones interviewed were quite clear SA was not for them. Selling it to us as defence is only patronising us. The people in power are belligerent; normal people are not.
