Budweiser beer at the German World Cup? Is this a free enterprise global economy or what? Bet the Germans are pleased...they have such a dedication to the art of making properly brewed beer. I heard there is a German nun who is the best beer brewer in the world because German beer has to be made from proper organic ingredients. I guess the people who go to the World Cup will choose what they want to drink? Market forces? I have a feeling we'll all be eating and drinking the same things no matter where we live in the world and it is only a matter of time. Wanna bet how long? I am so glad I grew up when I did because regional dishes and flavours are one of life's gifts and it was a good reason to travel. Now the world comes to you but you never know when or how!
