Adelaide Crows

Crows set stage for Showdown :

"'I don't think it makes any difference when you're chasing the footy in a final but, if you look at it, the Adelaide teams have won three out of the last nine premierships, that's not a bad strike rate.

'They've been in three grand finals and they've won all three."

Lot of happy Crows supporters today...and how!!! How all those guys played in that massive downpour is beyond me. It poured and the wind was really strong. We are always relauctant to say whether Port or the Crows will win a paricular match, but Neil Craig has created a winning team. His methods have galivinised a team of very strong players into the sort of team which can now win. They kicked their little hearts out and all credit to them in our foul weather! As for Port, they are by no means a weak team. My impression has always been that they don't do wet weather well which is odd considering they come from the Port! Adelaide is now at the top of the premiership table.
