Adelaide aims to be solar city of the future

The Advertiser: Adelaide aims to be solar city of the future :

"We're going further, too, becoming the first state that will enshrine in law a 60 per cent reduction in greenhouse gases by 2050. SA is already leading the nation in wind generation, generating more wind power than all other States and Territories combined. We also have more than 45 per cent of the nation's grid-connected solar power."

We're walking on sunshine...oh-oh...You are the sunshine of my life...ah -ah... .aah... Doesn't Adelaide just make you want to sing? Truth is, if we make up our minds about something everyone does the right thing and we get this whole team spirit happening right across the state. We recycle, we save water, we have committed ourselves to solar power. The government has changed a number of government interests into conserving energy and power. Our shopping centres have gone green...and we are back on our bikes. On top of that we are out walking our dogs and putting our sneakers on to get our backsides into gear. As long as someone keeps the overall planning going we'll fall in because we like it. We like clean air, we don't like waste. We like fair. We just need to clean up the Torrens , then our money really will be where our mouth is! I can remember when we had decided we were all suffering from stress. So we got he oil burners and aromatherapy happening and the crystals. We got into the Tai Chi and then we learned how to make stress balls and we were all making different ones. Even the little kids were making them and giving them to their parents. My daughter gave me this amazing fish one made from layers of balloons and my sister gave me a purple one with rice in it. We were all into it...I know...but we have a great life here!!!
