"Adelaide Cup Day 2006 has been substituted by proclamation of the Governor and this will continue after 2006. The Government has designated Monday 13 March 2006 to be Adelaide Cup Day to align the holiday with the Magic Millions Racing Carnival. Volunteers Day will also be celebrated on 13th March."
Don't forget to mark March 13th as the Adelaide Cup Day on your calendar this year. I know it's usually in May but if you remember they were talking about shifting it. They certainly did! Now we have a public holiday on March 13th!!!
