Senate passes IR laws.

Senate passes IR laws.:

"'The result of the division there being 35 ayes and 33 noes, the matter is resolved in the affirmative,' Senate president Paul Calvert said."

When the votes fall that way and the senate is that evenly divided then you know this is not a good outcome. Divided votes like that mean the country is at a stalemate and we cannot go forward. We'll go under because you cannot rise above division. When any group falls into halves like that there is no impetus. It remains a struggle of equal and opposite forces. Any belief this is a mandated change is incorrect. Governments are elected to govern, not to do as they please and the senate is obviously aware of that. So, stop kidding yourselves and look to resolving this. We had great work place reform and bodies for organising that reform. Work with the country. Ignoring your peole and your country seems to be very odd.
