MP urges permanent shark barrier. :
"The Member for Morphett, Duncan McFetridge, says the recent history of shark attacks makes it imperative that the 3 million local, interstate and overseas visitors to Glenelg each year are adequately protected."
What kind of a barrier? A lot of boats put out to sea from Glenelg and yes, the swimmers need protecting. A barrier might work but you'd really have to think about it because it's a heavy traffic area. We had another near miss encounter with sharks off the coast yesterday. They are there and we need to have a decent plan. The panes are spotting them, but yesterday's shark has come right up tot the boat. Getting food back into their ocean would work too.
