Adelaide is famous for its balls, which little kids just love. For them it is a tactile, visual thing. While I was taking photos a good many children had run up to the balls and "hugged" them and then stood back to see what they looked like and the parents and grandparents were drawn into this spontaneous reaction. We also have our bronze pigs which caused a bit of a stir when they were put in, but again, they create quite a reaction and people of all ages interact with them. It makes them laugh. And again, they want to touch them.
