Counter terrorism summit.

PM convenes terrorism summit.:

"The issues to be discussed include counter-terrorism legal frameworks, surface transport security, identity security and more effective prevention of any advocacy of terrorism."

The idea is rock solid in this day and age. Stick to the facts. Keep your eye on the ball and stay level headed. Do not engage in parlance, jingoism, cliché, half baked ideas, jumping to conclusions. By all means read between the lines, consider all possibilities and probabilities. Avoid scare mongering, wild imaginings and irrelevancies. Consider sub plots and sub texts. A comprehensive look at the matter by our heads of state is welcome and I look forward to hearing what we might do collectively as a nation. But take a long hard look. Who is engaged in violent activity in our society? Who are the ones who are dealing "violence and death" ? Sit down and write the names of all the people who are dishing it out to others. Maybe you'll get it. The facts. It's odd how those who want the society we enjoyed for years and we ALL valued it, are now called "civil libertarians". Sticks and stones. Language usage also needs to be scrutinised . Emotive terms never were a sound way of conducting a logical and rational dicussion.
