Nuts

The Advertiser: Taste of export market success:

"She is responsible for Nut Producers Australia's two divisions, Riverland Almonds' processing plant at Loxton and the Australian Pioneer Pistachio Company's factory at Robinvale, over the border in Victoria."

Can't have South Australia without almonds. We all used to have an almond tree in the back garden but it's rather gone out of fashion and fruit and nut trees have given way to patios, pergolas and pools. Mind you, a lot of people didn't like the big huntsman who seemed to have a predilection for our almond trees and they'd kind of just drop out of them! Corinna Steeb is obviously a great business woman but she is making one of our great products burgeon. We love our nuts! I wonder if we eat more nuts or chocolate?
