Increased security

I could have sworn on the news I heard the Govt say we wouldn't tolerate any increased checks and security on road transport as we do at the airports and in shipping. Really? I think we'd be heaps happier if our leaders showed a way of protecting us from explosives nutters whatever their origin and cause. Normal people doing normal things have been mercilessy attacked and are constantly the targets of those who would explode others. We'd love some help dealing with this no matter where we live.
