Live 8 concerts to target G8. 01/06/2005. ABC News Online:
"Twenty years after the Live Aid sensation, the man dubbed 'Saint Bob' for organising the 1985 concert to save the starving in Ethiopia wants to influence the G8 group of industrialised nations that meets in Scotland in July."
Bob Geldorf just never gives up. He has been lampooned at times for his intesity, but bottom line, he gets off his bottom and uses his fame and fortune to rally others to support those in need. This time there will be 5 free concerts. In 2005 it is time to make poverty history because we can communicate so well and we have the means to eradicate disgusting living conditions. Team effort... and Bob Geldorf never stops putting the teams together and doing his bit.
