FrogWatch
"ToadBusters is the name we have adopted for the project to try to stop toads overwhelming the ecosystems in and around Darwin and other places. ToadMusters are when people go out and collect toads at night. You can do this in your backyard or the local wetlands."
FrogWatch is the site to get the Cane Toad information. They are currently tracing the cane toads which are on the move from Queensland and headed for Darwin. They have some radio linked and are trying to predict where they are so that the people in Darwin can be ready to protect their gardens and wild life. A lot of birds and lizards are under threat. I have blogged about Cane Toads befire. They are a bit of a legend here, but they are imported and they are poisonous and destructive. FogWatch gives a lot of information about our native frogs as well.
You can track the Cane Toad trek under the "sightings" link.
