US robot troops to go into battle - World - www.smh.com.au: "When researchers succeed, a number of troubling moral dilemmas will have to be addressed. Some in the American computer business are asking whether it is acceptable to have machines decide for themselves whether to take human life and what will happen when - inevitably - the robot makes a mistake."
161 billion dollars. 161 BILLION dollars on war. Where do they get that kind of money? Why spend it on war? Of course there will be war if you spend that kind of money on war toys. When you spend that kind of money on destruction why bother worrying whether the machine makes a mistake? The mistake was made creating such a horrible thing and spending your country's money on it. Now, what could the US do with that kind of money in its own country? No, they won't lose any more soldiers. Other people will. That's nice. And, if they want to spend that kind of money on fancy toys...why not make us a state of the art machine to fix up this stupid bloomin' weather?
