It may have been dull and overcast. It may have been an atypical November day in Adelaide but the conditions suited the Christmas Pageant perfectly and Adelaide was out. We were all out all day. The atmosphere in town was one of real cheer and happiness. Everyone loved the floats and the atmosphere they provided to the city. Everyone was cheery and appreciative of the great effort which had been made to bring us our Christmas Pageant. The children were overjoyed and then happily exhausted from all the excitement of Santa coming to town at last. There was so much traffic and so many pedestrians but everyone managed it well and the police on point duty did a fantastic job of getting us all safely to where we needed to be.It may have been a bit drizzly but the spirits were light and bright. It could have been 40 degrees. We knew we were on a winner!
