"The Sunday Mail understands the Government is close to sealing a deal to import up to six trams from Madrid to run on the City-to-Bay tramline. The French-made Alstom Citadis trams are scheduled to be in service by December."
Well, let's hope they are here by December. We are sick of the squashed and intolerable conditions on the trams. We hate those lovely new trams being spoiled by hideous advertising painted all over them and we are tired of waiting for a tram which can fit us in. We'd use the trams, but we need something civilised and functional. I'd like to think the new trams will help out. DON"T PAINT ALL OVER THEM!!!
