"I wanted to stay in the area and thought that was the best time to buy. It's a great little town," she said.
I'd like to think the housing crisis is allowing people to think about the value of our country areas. In SA we have some fantastic country areas and so if young people are buying out in the country and encouraging a property sales to flourish , it is a good sign. Our country areas need to be revamped and regrown so they continue to be part of a state which is growing. Young people will know how to make the connections and changes needed for that and the older residents will probably be glad of some new faces. Things will change, they always do, but we need to keep regional SA up and running because it's something we value and is valuable to us.
