I invested in a new , fast wifi ADSL set up over Christmas. It has been a J learning curve to say the least and some of it I really appreciate because I like to learn. It is not as stable as the slow wifi set up I had but the slow one was okay but a target for opportunistic people who wanted to hijack bandwidth and ride for free. So the new one is secure and works really, really well when it is all settled down...then it seems to be like those crackly radio programmes you hear from the war years or the stories of CB riggers blowing each other out of the air. I have Network stumblers and tracers so I can see who is on wifi in the area. We are all on secure networks bar one and it can go well until the one comes on. Then I have to wander with my laptop around the house to find the best reception area. It's funny how life changes but the problems don't!
