Broadband

AdelaideNow... 55,000 broadband black holes
"Failure to provide fast, competitive and cost-effective broadband solutions for metropolitan and regional businesses will impede development and isolate regional towns throughout the state,"

it is important for people to be connected these days for all sorts of reasons. This is 2008 and yet we cannot solve the broadband delivery and we cannot shop safely online without some swine stealing our card numbers. Those basic things have to be fixed if we are going global. Constantly it's the user who is being deprived and undermined by a system which favours inconsistency. We have been through lots of growth and in some ways it is unfair to complain. It is making naked broadband even more attractive but there are problems with that as well. Scamming, phishing and blackholes have to be proeprly dealt with if we are to grow into this technolgy and really put it to good use.
