Bollywood

20th Century Fox strikes Bollywood deal | News.com.au
The pact is part of a move by Hollywood studios to team up with Asian producers to tap new local language audiences. Sony Pictures and Walt Disney have concluded similar pacts in India.

India and China have such massive populations they can exist without others to create what is in their interests. They don't feel the need, necessarily, to compromise their culture and heritage. Other countries have come into the mainstream because money dictates that. Money, money , money. Bollywood stars are hugely successful in India and don't need leave and renounce  their culture to make their name and great fortune. So it is interesting to watch  how western society is making overtures to get into such lucrative markets...and in the end some of this will benefit us all because it will be different, exciting and stimulating. It will be through film and media we bridge the cultural divides.
