ExitReality

AdelaideNow... ExitReality browser makes internet 3D
As well as being able to research your next overseas trip in a virtual simulation of the French capital, cyber surfers will be able to view friends' photos online in a three-dimensional art gallery or watch YouTube videos in a 3D cinema.

3D internet? It will change the face of everything. There is an attraction in 3D but it tends to move away form text and yet, we keep coming back to text despite all temptation. We can interact in quite complex ways and so the addition of 3D will make it more of a real virtual reality and graphics have certainly come a long way in this last year. We are on the way to a much bigger visual impact electronically. So how will text adapt? We'll see. It's being launched in Melbourne today. Wonder what they think.
