AN Egyptian donkey has been jailed for stealing corn on the cob from a field belonging to an agricultural research institute in the Nile Delta, local media reported today.
Poor donkey. Don't they realise that animals do what animals do? The owner got a fine. The donkey was sent to gaol. How can animals be subject to human law? Or is it animal law because the human kept his freedom? Poor donkey.
