DOCS takes children from grandparents 'over bum smack'
FOUR children were removed from their grandparents' care and put into separate foster homes, allegedly because the grandmother smacked one of them on the bottom after the child tried to climb into a drain.
I cannot believe what I am reading and so I think it's either a case of us needing to sit down and take our time to think again...or there is more going on here than we know. It sounds absolutely ludicrous and very daft...except the children are being shoved from pillar to post and so don't have anyone who really loves them. They are being "cared" for...on paper. In some file. If this has occurred we have either lost the plot completely or we don't have all the facts. Splitting them up is pretty sad.
