Noosa is the cheap grocery mecca : "The Prime Minister's much criticised website to track grocery prices made its debut this morning, revealing something many families living in the regional areas already know - buying groceries in Broome, Darwin, Alice Springs and even Hobart is more expensive than the big cities."
Doesn't matter what you do, the critics are always ready. Truth is, they do not contribute to growth. They unravel as fast as you knit. That is hardly helpful. So shall we watch? Shall we listen? Already I know Noosa is cheaper and I would never have thought that. As data comes in we'll get a national picture which might actually help us. Might surprise us too. As the site grows we might actually think of ways of making it better....like adding a forum or looking at recipes which use the value for money products. It's something which has been done so we get information to help ourselves. If you can do better ....go for it! We need shopping help.
