Hemp crops help save the Murray?

AdelaideNow... Can legal cannabis crops help save the Murray?: "Mr Macdonald said the soft texture of hemp means it can be used for insulation or as an alternative to fibreglass, while hemp seed oil can be used as a base for skin care products and paints."

We had hemp jeans and clothes at one stage and they were hugely popular and then they vanished and we were so annoyed. Hemp makes lovely jeans and very durable clothes. It makes a good, organic cloth which has a really nice texture. If other products can be produced and we can also save water ..then go for it...we might even get hemp twine back. We would be so happy.
