OzHarvest: "Every day in our city, thousands of kilos of high-quality, nutritious food is thrown away, while elsewhere people go hungry."

If you are serious about helping the hungry at home you could do worse than consult the Oz harvest site. It's a wonderful organisation which is helping get food around the city. It has released its first annual report after 3 years of operation and in February it opened the Canberra branch. I hope this is the year we can look at making sure all Australians have sufficient to eat because we have become the wasteful and the deprived. We would feel so much better if everyone was okay. There are lots of ways to offer help.
