Cool as cucumbers

We have not only been eating them, we feel like them now!! What a relief that was this morning to get up and feel cool air. Air with oxygen. We were throwing the windows and doors open at home and at work. It is unbelievable when you can do that. Yes, we are grateful for air conditioning, but nothing beats fresh air. Then this afternoon there was the tell tale warmth and humidity but by four it was just beautiful. Cool. Cool and fresh...the place looks devastated. Crispy brown and disgusting. We so need water.As I said before, no one has really taken into account that in these extreme conditions we needed help and consideration...but we are so buggered! Constant heat just saps you.
