Children to be banned from front seat : "More than 500 children die on Australian roads each year and a further 2300 are seriously injured in car accidents each year."
How do those figures compare with previous years and decades because they are indeed worrying. Very worrying. I want to see the figures for previous years. By putting children in the back seat between the ages of four and seven , yes, you will protect them more but I am glad I don't have to drive children around like that. I used to like to have them in the front where I could talk to them like a human being. What concerns me is that we may be treating the symptoms again and not the root causes. How do we actually kill and injure this many children in a year, how does it happen and what are the reasons. it's appalling and very upsetting. This needs to come out into
the open and the facts need to get out there so that we are more aware of it as a community. We might then be able to work on it together.
