Authority to look at 'very fast' Sydney-Canberra rail link - : "A spokesman for the Infrastructure and Transport Minister, Anthony Albanese, says the very fast train link would be 'absolutely considered' by the authority."
Can't think of anything better. It would haul us into the 21st century and we really need some reliable, modern intercity connections if we want to take ourselves seriously. It would help us because we seem to be travelling around a lot and it would also help tourists and those here on business. Trains would reduce carbon and pollution...I just love trains!
