Bush says no regrets over war in Iraq : "US President George W. Bush says he has no regrets about the war in Iraq despite the 'high cost in lives and treasure' and has declared the US is on track for a major victory there."
Says it all , doesn't it. Not only is he out of touch with his people, he is out of touch with the feelings of others. He is all right because he is rich, he is okay, his family is neither maimed nor killed and his country is intact. What has happened in Iraq is inexcusable. Unforgivable and irreversible. We have done so much harm. We have hurt so many thousands of people and we have damaged their land , their culture and their environment. Mr. Bush has spent squillions of dollars which his own people would have benefited from and he has allowed his own people to be killed. of course you back your own soldiers when hey are there and in danger. Of course you feel for them. More rational heads would never have done this because it was unwarranted. All that money...up in smoke and destruction.
