Boys in hospital after firestick accident

Boys in hospital after firestick accident: "Two teenage boys are in Bundaberg hospital after being burnt from oil splashed up from a twirling fire baton."

Lucky they didn't start a bush fire and horrible they burnt themselves. Fortunate people seem to have been on to it pretty quickly and the medical back up was there by the sounds of it. It's just sad. Circus acts like this often inspire the young but then they don't think of the dangers when they try things themselves because the circus people are just so slick and good. All in the training. We had a circus school here. I am not sure if we still do. Kids could go along and learn different circus acts and they became great entertainers whether they were brilliant at what they learned or not. The school gave them skills and then they could entertain others. It kept them enthused, happy and their imaginations were alive. It would be good if the boys could have access to training or maybe it was just a thing they did one afternoon. Kids can be full of imagination. They forget safety. It needs to be planted in them somehow before they hurt themselves.
