Scientists can read your mind... sort of: "The researchers told the Daily Mail that although they could only read a person’s mind when they were thinking about one of the 10 drawings used in the experiment, it was possible that entire sentences could be read by the machine."

Here we go!! This will be the century of brain expertise as last century we became dab hands at heart issues. I am still in awe of the specialists who saved my family member by giving him 2 mechanical valves and a bypass. To them it was a clear cut plan of action...but to me they are miracle workers. It is just extraordinary. So now we have people who are working on the science of the brain. It will help treatments and the management of brain based diseases and anti social behaviour...but I don't want someone reading my mind. Can you imagine? There'll be brain scanning and your job interview will be done via wireless scanning. Oh my good heavens. I do not want people in there scanning. It might be crap, but it's my crap. It would however be beneficial in terms of dealing with really aberrant behaviour...and maybe they'll be able to put happy thoughts into the chronically depressed. It'll be fun, that's for sure...but look out!!
