UN concern over Olympic pollution: "In some cases, pollution is said to be more than three times the safe limits set by the World Health Organization."
At this stage Bejing has been selected to be the Olympic City. People expressed concern at the time about the pollution but it was still been selected. As a world we need to get in there and try to help resolve the problems. I dare say China is doing all that it can to bring it under control. We need an international approach to this and a problem solving one..and it is about solving the problem and not laying the blame. Bejing was chosen. We now have to co operate internationally to assist Bejing to be ready for the Olympics.
