Times Atlas shows how global warming is changing the world : "More changes than ever before are being recorded by cartographers as they attempt to keep track of the impact people have on the environment."
I think that's the way to get through to us and we need to see the pictures. Just the two on this article make you think. I heard a cartographer talking on the news this morning and it wasn't particularly about global warming it was about countries reclaiming land, changing borders and then having new cities because of the global move away from rural industries. Our world is changing and we need to keep up with it. We need to see it and talk about it. Not all of it is bad, some of it is fascinating and then there are the stumbling blocks we have created which we need to repair.
