Research continues into SA Ambulance uniform allergy

Research continues into SA Ambulance uniform allergy : "The service says it is no longer issuing uniforms from the batch received last November, after reports of severe itching and a case of a serious anaphylactic reaction."

Clothing ought not create such severe consequences for anyone. All the uniforms need to be withdrawn, in my opinion, since there is obviously something really wrong with them and until that is established they need to be deemed unworthy. You'd do the same if people broke out in a burning rash anywhere from anything. You have to establish the cause. It is severe and I am sure they are working on it. Meantime, something may be building up in the skins and bodies of those who have not yet reacted, they may be contaminating other clothing , there may be issues for dry cleaners and it may well get worse in the heat. Seriously, the uniforms are worse than not being up to scratch. They are a health hazard.
