When a 27 tonne truck heads down the hill straight at you, you will be damaged. You will spend a lot of time after in damage control, so angry men get a great deal of complicity and co operation because people will panda to that anger in order to avoid it and the disasterous impact of it. Angry men get what they want because the consequences of their anger are documented every minute of the day in every corner of the planet. An angry woman will often be seen as a shrieker, a screamer or someone who has lost it because often women get so angry they have to cry or rant. That is when they are really angry and it weakens their position. It is not acceptable for women to be angry, so they often snipe, nag and get depressed. All of that is behaviour which diminishes. Quite often hormones are blamed for angry outburts and quite often angry outburts are caused by hormones in women. So there is not really a clear picture of angry women and women do not support angry women but they will kowtow to the demands of an angry man. This paper is really interesting and highlights a number of issues which we ought to have clarified by now in our equity debates. Time we did.
