SA trials new flu treatment program.

SA trials new flu treatment program.:

"The Government is trialing a special medical response team that will assess flu patients at home and only transport them if needed.

South Australia is experiencing its worst flu outbreak in three years, with ambulances responding to as many as 800 cases a day."

A response team to any kind of medical "outbreak" would seem to be a good idea to take the weight off hospitals and doctors' waiting rooms. This flu has been nasty and it has so many elements to it , you do actually have to have your wits about you to manage it. I got so sick last year, I actually didn't get a bad bout of this flu, but what I had was debilitating enough. It's been a shocker this one and knocking people about a bit. Things like this could probably have a website so you can consult useful treatments for the various symtoms if useful things are found. I have been laughing because when you go to the supermarket to get cough medicine they've sold out again...and that's when you know it's bad! Adelaide rarely sells out of cough medicine.
