Say aloe to a new flavour

Say aloe to a new flavour : "Berlin butcher Uwe Buenger has developed a 'chili-honey' Bratwurst while rival Dankert has come up with a 'kiwi wurst' that also includes pineapples and maraschino cherries, Bild newspaper has reported."

Most other national dishes have had a fusion makeover and so I guess it is time for the humble Bratwurst to come upmarket. Personally I like them because they are more substantial than the flimsy sausage squidge we get here. I confess many of our butchers have tried their darndest to get SA to engage with real sausages and some of the sausage makeovers here have been brilliant. I could enjoy these new fashioned Bratwurst...they'd go really well with ginger, apricots or cherries and the fruit flavours would lighten them up a bit for our climate! Stick them in a wrap with salad and you have the perfect fast food! I can't see aloe vera doing anything for them...but maybe it's a nutritional thing, who knows?!
